Website and Customer Portal Terms of Use and Service · Last updated: October 9, 2026
These Website and Customer Portal Terms of Use and Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website, customer portal, and related account-management functions operated by Global VoIP Services, Inc. (“Global VoIP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms also describe general conditions applicable to our hosted VoIP, unified communications, ConnectUC, and call recording services. Specific service obligations, pricing, service features, and other commercial terms may be governed by a separate written service agreement, order, quote, service schedule, or other document accepted by the parties.
If a separate signed agreement conflicts with these Terms regarding a purchased service, the signed agreement will control to the extent of the conflict, unless it expressly provides otherwise.
By accessing the website or portal, you agree to the provisions applicable to that access. Use of paid services is also subject to the applicable service agreement and order.
Our services are intended primarily for business customers.
You represent that you are authorized to access the account and, if acting on behalf of a business, have authority to bind that business to applicable agreements.
You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your business contact, billing, and other required account details reasonably current.
The customer portal may allow authorized users to view account information, manage service settings, access billing information, and perform other functions made available for the account.
You are responsible for:
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law and your service agreement.
We may require identity verification before providing account information, changing account settings, releasing protected call records, or performing sensitive administrative actions.
We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, protect account security, address unauthorized access, or comply with law.
Global VoIP provides or arranges access to business communications services, which may include hosted VoIP telephone service, unified communications, ConnectUC applications, call recording, voicemail, and associated features.
Some features depend on third-party platforms, telecommunications carriers, internet providers, software providers, and other infrastructure outside our direct control.
Service features, availability, compatibility, and functionality may vary by customer account, configuration, device, network, and service plan.
We may modify, replace, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for operational, security, technical, commercial, or legal reasons, subject to any applicable contractual commitments and required notice.
The applicable service order, quote, invoice, or signed agreement identifies the services ordered and the applicable charges.
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable agreement, customers are responsible for:
Payment due dates and accepted payment methods will be stated in the applicable invoice or agreement.
If a customer disputes an invoice, the customer should notify Global VoIP promptly, identify the disputed charges, and provide supporting details. The customer must pay undisputed amounts when due, subject to applicable law and the governing agreement.
Late fees, collection costs, deposits, and other payment remedies apply only to the extent permitted by law and the applicable agreement.
Subject to applicable law and the governing agreement, Global VoIP may suspend or restrict services for nonpayment, suspected fraud, unauthorized use, security risks, unlawful activity, or other material violations.
Where practicable and legally required, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address the issue before suspension. Immediate action may be necessary to prevent fraud, protect network security, respond to legal requirements, or mitigate material harm.
Suspension does not automatically cancel amounts already owed.
Service restoration may be subject to resolution of the underlying issue and payment of amounts properly due under the applicable agreement.
You agree to use our services lawfully and in accordance with applicable telecommunications laws, regulations, carrier requirements, and service agreements.
You must not use, or permit others to use, our services to:
You are responsible for the activities of your employees, contractors, authorized users, and other individuals using your account, subject to applicable law and the governing agreement.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable measures to protect our systems, customers, carriers, and other affected parties.
IMPORTANT: VoIP emergency calling may differ from traditional telephone service.
The availability and operation of 911 or Enhanced 911 (“E911”) depend on the service configuration, power, internet connectivity, network availability, registered location, and other technical and operational factors.
Emergency calling may be unavailable or delayed during power outages, internet or network failures, service interruptions, equipment failures, or other disruptions. Emergency calls may also be affected if a user relocates a device, uses a service from a different location, or has an incorrect or outdated registered emergency address.
Customers must provide and maintain accurate emergency location information for each applicable service and follow the procedures provided for updating that information. Customers must inform their employees and other users of relevant emergency calling limitations and ensure required notices and acknowledgments are provided.
Do not assume that a portable VoIP device or application will automatically transmit the user's current physical location to emergency responders.
If emergency calling is unavailable, use an available alternative, such as a mobile telephone or another functioning telephone service, to contact emergency services.
This section supplements, and does not replace, any separate emergency calling disclosures, customer notifications, acknowledgments, or procedures required by law.
Call recording features may be available depending on the service and configuration.
The customer is responsible for determining whether recording a call or other communication is lawful and for providing required notices and obtaining all necessary consents before recording, monitoring, storing, transcribing, or otherwise processing communications.
This responsibility includes compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including California laws concerning confidential communications and recording, as applicable.
Customers must establish appropriate internal policies, access controls, and retention practices for recordings and must not use recording features for unlawful purposes.
Global VoIP does not provide legal advice concerning the legality of any particular recording practice. Availability of a recording feature does not constitute confirmation that a proposed use is lawful.
Use of our website, portal, and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
We and our service providers may process account information, call detail records, technical logs, and other communications-related data as necessary to provide services, manage accounts, support billing, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with applicable law.
We will handle protected telecommunications information in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including applicable CPNI obligations.
Customers must use their portal permissions and access rights appropriately and must not access information belonging to other customers without authorization.
Global VoIP and its licensors retain all rights in their respective websites, materials, software, documentation, branding, and other intellectual property.
Subject to the applicable service agreement, we grant customers a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the portal and related interfaces for their authorized business purposes during the applicable period.
Customers must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or misuse software or intellectual property except as expressly permitted by law or an applicable written agreement.
Third-party software and applications, including ConnectUC-related software, may also be subject to separate license terms.
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to support the operation of our services in accordance with the applicable agreement.
Services may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, internet connectivity, third-party systems, power failures, cyber incidents, carrier interruptions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Unless expressly provided in a separate written service-level agreement, these Terms do not promise uninterrupted service, a specific uptime percentage, or a particular response or resolution time.
Any applicable uptime commitment, service credit, or support obligation will be determined by the relevant written agreement.
Telephone numbers are subject to applicable numbering rules, carrier requirements, and the rights and obligations established by law and contract.
Customers may request to transfer eligible telephone numbers to another provider in accordance with applicable porting procedures.
Customers must provide accurate information and reasonably cooperate with requests necessary to process a port. Customers should not assume a port is complete until the receiving provider confirms completion.
Cancellation, nonpayment, or service termination may affect telephone numbers and porting arrangements. Customers should coordinate number transfers before terminating service whenever possible.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict any number-portability rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
The term of a paid service, renewal provisions, minimum commitments, and cancellation requirements are governed by the applicable service agreement or order.
Customers may request cancellation through the procedures specified in their agreement or by contacting Global VoIP.
Subject to applicable law and the governing agreement, either party may terminate a service agreement for a material breach that remains uncured after any required notice and cure period.
Global VoIP may suspend or terminate services immediately where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, serious security threats, fraud, or legal requirements, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.
Upon termination, the customer remains responsible for properly accrued charges and other amounts owed under the applicable agreement. Access to the portal, recordings, voicemail, and other stored information may end or be restricted, subject to applicable law, contractual obligations, and any agreed data-export or retention procedures.
Except for express commitments in an applicable written agreement, the website and portal are provided on an “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Global VoIP disclaims implied warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in this section excludes a warranty, obligation, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, or loss of data, arising from the website or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Any aggregate limitation on direct damages, exclusions, exceptions, and allocation of risk will be governed by the applicable signed service agreement.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law and subject to the applicable service agreement, the customer is responsible for claims arising from its unlawful use of the services, its violation of third-party rights, or its failure to comply with legal requirements applicable to its own communications, recordings, or business operations.
Any duty to defend, indemnify, or reimburse the other party, and any exceptions to that duty, will be governed by the applicable written agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law controls or applicable law requires otherwise.
Disputes relating to purchased services may be governed by the dispute-resolution provisions of the applicable signed service agreement.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes to website-use provisions may apply upon posting to the extent permitted by law. Changes to paid service terms will be handled in accordance with the applicable service agreement, required notice provisions, and applicable law.
Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not replace any consent or agreement required for a material change to a paid service.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the parties.
These Terms, together with applicable service orders and agreements, govern the subjects they address. They do not supersede a separate signed agreement except as expressly provided in that agreement.
